Lake Holiday is a private residential community that was developed in Montgomery County, Indiana between 1962 and 1964 located 5 miles Southwest of Crawfordsville;  47 miles from Indianapolis; 42 miles from Danville, Illinois; 51 miles from Terre Haute, and 28 miles from Lafayette. 

Today, the Lake Holiday area covers 750 acres, has 780 property owners, 372 homes, and 1,296 privately owned lots.  The lake itself covers 150 acres and has an average depth of 18 feet with depths up to 60 feet near the dam.  There are many miles of shoreline along the lake and approximately 16 miles of roadway.  K-12 students attend the South Montgomery School District.

Lake Holiday provides water activities such as water skiing, tubing, boating, fishing, and swimming to its residents.
